Hey guys,
I was wondering, besides me and one other friend of mine, if anyone else has seen Fraggle Rock? It's a children's show but for older kids, and I can't believe I still watch it. I guess it's because of the fantasy and magic, and just fun in it. There's lots of songs and singing, and the Fraggle's just like to dance and have fun and swim and do all kinds of things. They are creatures that live in caves behind a whole in the wall of this workshop that Dock and his dog Sprokit live. One of the fraggles calls it outerspace, our world, when it's not, but I guess it could be. What an imagination Jim Henson had. lol. I really love it though, it's kind of like a world peace kind of thing, no one knows how much they really are alike or how much they really need each other, until the end of the show. But it shows how people really can get along and have a great time. And it talks about life and death, and friendship and lots more to. It's just a great show to watch and enjoy I think, and I think that any kid should grow up with it. It would teach you lots of good things about the world we live in and how to treat other people. So anyway, sorry for the ramble, but I thought I'd ask if anyone else has seen it.

Wow cool! It's nice to find other people who like this show. Did you know that they're making a Fraggle Rock film that's coming out either next year or the year after? It'll be interesting to see how it'll play out at the box office. I guess it's suppose to be a family film, relating to people of all ages, since the people who watched the show and grew up with it are in there 20's or 30's now. So it should be interesting. But I love the show and I just met someone else who use to watch it all the time, so it's nice to find other people who share similar interests.

LOL. I love that show, as you already know. I love the theme song. It makes me wanna move. Hahahaha. It's a feel-good song. There's just no comparison to the stuff they play nowadays. There's a lot of good shows for really young children, but I wish that they still played the cartoons/shows we grew up with, too. They were fabulous.

I used to watch it a lot when I was little. I think we might still have a video of one of the shows. I liked it and still do. It's a fun and cool show. *smile*

Weren't their also books based on that years ago? I seem to remember a commercial where it was getting close to dinnertime in this house and the little boy was getting restless. His mom suggested he read something but there wasn't anything interesting in the house until the Fraggle books came out.

I think it's still on in the UK, and possibly other places, but don't quote me on that. Anyway, I'm glad to see so many other people loved, and still remember this great show! I myself used to watch it and listen to the original soundtrack religiously when I was a kid, and now have the first 3 seasons on DVD. I still watch it from time to time and listen to the music for nostalgia, but also because so much of the music is so terrific, and the story lines are great, and truely have something for everyone if they only know how to look. Like you Songbird, I also love it for the permotion of belief in magic. So what were/are some of everyone's favorite episodes? I love nearly all of them of course, but I tend to favor the ones with more serious or dramatic plots such as Marooned, (my absolute favorite), The Garden Plot, (my second favorite), and The Incredible Shrinking Mokey.
